Fly Tying Class: Midges, January 25th 2025

Pound for pound, midges are the most consistent food source for trout in nearly any river you will encounter. These little bugs are how little fish get big, and how big get bigger. This class will cover a variety of midge flies, how to tie them, and how to fish them. This is a begnnier+ to intermediate level class. If you’re familiar with basic tying terms and techniques, you’ll be ready to roll for this class and to start cranking out your own midge flies. Materials, tools, and equipment are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like.
